ABOUT

Katie Allcorn is an artist and forever student with a BFA from Mississippi State University. After completing her emphasis in Graphic Design, she operated a freelance studio for ten years. Sprinkled throughout that decade, Katie also operated and sold a restaurant and music venue, produced two original print collections and became a mother to two baby girls.

From creating spaces and brands to collecting tiny rock pigments from river beds, Katie continues to explore the bottomless well of creative expression. Despite the cultural pressures to sum up her life and work in 100 characters or less, Katie prays that she stays open to new opportunities to learn and that her work never fits into a pretty box of words. When not daydreaming the next passion project, she can be found riding around in a bus with her small family, pressing tiny prints in her laundry-room studio, or inspiring young people through mess-making in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
